Amazing BOOK!!

If you have not seen Dan Santat's new book, Are We There Yet? you should run right now and get a copy!! I picked it up when our scholastic book fair was here and it is AMAZING!! I know that he already won a Caldecott for his Beekle book which was beautiful but this new book is absolutely fascinating. It goes back in time and the pages start turning backwards and then it goes forward in time and the pages turn the normal way again. So much happens in these pictures. I see a new thing every time I read it to a class. In addition to the pictures, the story is funny and is a topic to which kids can relate. LOVE this book!! #greatchildren'sbook
